Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026 · Includes the SMS Program Terms
These terms govern use of ScrubGrid, a clinician-scheduling service operated by Papyrus Health ("ScrubGrid," "we," "us"). By signing in to ScrubGrid, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we handle.
1. The service
ScrubGrid generates and manages clinical on-call and operating-room block schedules for surgical and clinical groups. Accounts are created by a group's administrator; there is no public self-registration. ScrubGrid is an operational scheduling tool and holds no patient information of any kind.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your sign-in.
- Use ScrubGrid only for your group's scheduling. Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, or any other protected health information anywhere in the service, including free-text fields and text-message replies.
- A group administrator may deactivate an account at any time; deactivation ends access immediately.
3. Service availability and changes
ScrubGrid is provided as-is and may change or be interrupted for maintenance. Your group's published schedule remains the authoritative record of assignments; text messages are a convenience and may be delayed or undelivered by carriers.
4. SMS Program Terms (text messages)
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Support: support@scrubgrid.ai.
4.1 Program description
ScrubGrid Schedule Alerts lets a clinician who already has a ScrubGrid account receive schedule-related text messages at a mobile number they provide, and answer certain messages by reply. The program is strictly opt-in and is used only for the messages listed below. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
4.2 How to opt in
Text messages are off by default for every account. Only you can turn them on, from inside your own signed-in account — a group administrator cannot enroll your number for you:
- Sign in to ScrubGrid and open your profile.
- Enter your own mobile number and turn on text alerts. The consent statement shown there tells you what you will receive, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop.
- Where your group's ScrubGrid version verifies numbers, we text a one-time code to the number; entering it back proves the number is yours and records your consent, with a timestamp.
The workflow, with a screenshot of the opt-in screen, is documented at scrubgrid.ai/sms-opt-in.html. Consent is not a condition of using ScrubGrid or of receiving any service from your group.
4.3 What we send
- A one-time verification code when you enroll or change your number.
- Schedule and swap notifications about your own assignments: a colleague's request to swap a duty with you, which you may answer by replying YES or NO, and the confirmation, denial, or cancellation of a swap you are part of.
- Cover offers: when a colleague needs cover for a duty you are eligible to take, a message describing the duty with a one-time reply code.
- Confirmations and outcomes of a reply you send (for example, that a duty is now yours, that it was already covered, or that the offer expired).
Sample messages (your group's short name may appear at the start of a message):
4.4 Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your group's scheduling activity. Most members receive a few messages per month; you receive a swap request or cover offer only when a colleague's request involves you, and a confirmation only in response to your own reply.
4.5 Cost
ScrubGrid does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier's plan.
4.6 How to opt out
Reply STOP to any ScrubGrid text. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further texts will be sent to that number. You can also turn text alerts off in your ScrubGrid profile at any time. To receive texts again, turn text alerts back on in your profile; where numbers are verified you will be asked to verify yours again.
4.7 Help and support
Reply HELP to any ScrubGrid text for assistance, or contact support@scrubgrid.ai.
4.8 Replies and privacy
Replies are read only for the words YES / NO, a reply code, and the STOP / HELP keywords; any other text in a reply is not used. Never include patient information in a reply. Your mobile number and opt-in status are used only to operate this program and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes — see the Privacy Policy.
4.9 Carriers
Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
